History
       Christie's served it's first meal on
March 14, 2006. The restaurant is a
collaboration of Chef Jayson Ridinger
and his wife, Manager/Sommelier
Christie McCarthy-Ridinger.
    Christie and Jayson met while
working for Ocean Forest Golf Club
on  Sea Island where Christie held the
title of Sommelier and Jayson the Sous
Chef.
   After a season  in the beautiful
Grand Tetons at Jenny Lake Lodge,
Jayson moved on to Halyards
Restaurant on St. Simons Island where
he was Chef de Cuisine for a number a
years.  While at Halyards, Jayson
learned what it takes to run a
successful restaurant.  
      Christie is a self taught certified
sommelier with an impeccable palate
and a
keen eye for detail.
      Jayson received his degree from
the International Culinary Academy/
Le Cordon Bleu in Pittsburgh.  
      Together they have created an
oasis of beauty and elegance
unmatched in the Golden Isles. Their
passion becomes clear once you
experince dinner at Christie's.
